So this is the second Christmas away from home, and it is already much different than last year.
Although I still miss my family Christmas very much, this year I have more roots laid down and have friends to spend this Christmas with. This past weekend I went down to Byron Bay to spend some time with some friends down there. We had a wonderful day on a secret beach that you have to climb down a mountain to get to. It was the absolute perfect day and just to prove it I have heat stroke and severe sunburn, but hey, could I have ever said that before in my life on a cold December day? Nope, so I'm loving it. We have had the topic of destiny this week. The speaker was really cool, and she had us write down our fifty top dreams. It was so cool how once you start writing them down its like you tap into your inner self, and all these things start coming out that you never knew were there before. And then she had us write down our top ten passions with you. These things are a little different than your passions. These are things that when I die, if I haven't done these things I would be disappointed with my life, where dream are things I would just like to do. I figured it would be easier to share these than the fifty, so here is a little scoop into my soul;
1) Help needy children
2) Be content in everything I do and everywhere I am
3) Help people find thier passion (inspire)
4) Spend a big part of my life on stage, or in front of people
5) Bring restoration
6) See abortion come to an end (have a part in it)
7) Make sure my family always has everything they need
8) Always give a helping hand
9) Travel the world
10) Make friends everywhere I go
Its really cool seeing this on paper, ready to be achieved. I really encourage you to sit down and have a think about some things that you would like to do before you die. I would also just like to ask you to please pray for all of the students here. Christmas time can be a really hard time on people away from home, whether they have family issues, or its their first time away, the Christmas season doesn't always bring joy to everyone.
