I have been having an amazing so far in PNG. We have been here for two weeks in Port Moresby and will be leaving for Kerema tomorrow, where we will be for four weeks. These past two weeks have been so cool to be on the leadership side. I have seen the students pushed and challenged, and seen them push through. We have prayed for many, seen salvations and healings. We have been working in the local orphanges and with the street kids. We were able to work with an amazing ministry a woman started. She plans activities for the street kids, teaches them to read and write, and puts some through school. All on her own. We also were able to go to the radio that my team visited last year. It was cool to see how they have grown, and are closer to their goals. We were able to record our voices introducing the radio station. They will be playing all year. Mine said; Hey this is Jackie from America, and you are listening to Wontak Radio Light. Your Inspiration Station.
Like I said, tomorrow we will be going to Kerema. It is on the Western side of PNG. We will be driving for a few hours, and then taking dinghys the rest of the way. We will be visiting 14 villages while we are there. We have 1 day VBS planned. A mini Woman's retreat. We will even be teaching the elders of the church. We are very excited about all the things we will be doing there, and I can't wait to update you about them again soon.
Please pray that the hearts in Kerema will be open to hear and accept the things we have to teach.
Blessings,
Jaclyn
