Lets think

Since I have been here its been pretty quiet around the base. The Feb school is on outreach. Most all of the staff are on vacation time, because there isn't a school around. While I usually really dislike this time of the year I have actually been enjoying it this time around. Usually I'm so busy with the school that I don't get to be super involved in our local evangelism team. The past few weeks I have been going to our homeless ministry twice a week and also being apart of our in-school ministry twice a week. I realized how much I love doing those things and how much I have missed them.
The Feb school's PNG outreach team stopped by the base for a few days on their way out to the Outback. It was so good to see them and hear their stories. They were telling me how a group of men came to one of their services one night. After service they gave their lives to the Lord and followed them around for the next two weeks. One night when they were all together these men told the team that they had come to the service that night because they heard missionaries were in town and they were going to come kill them all but they heard their sermon and the Holy Spirit started talking to them and they were moved and got saved!
GOD SAVES! I was thinking about that this week. How so many times we ask why God lets bad things happen to us, but we don't even think about all those times that we don't even know about. When that stop light was extra short, and we get mad that we got stopped, but who knows what could have happened if you were 3 seconds in front of yourself.

Romans 8:28
"And we know that God causes EVERYTHING to work together for the GOOD of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them."
